Undercounter refrigerators with doors are ideal for establishments that keep pre-sliced ingredients in food pans. When the ingredient table runs out of a particular item, the workers simply have to reach into the cabinet and pull another pan off the shelf. Drawered models hold full pans, or partial sizes with adapters, and are ideal for prepared ingredients or food that is not used frequently throughout the day. For example, a restaurant could place pans of pre-breaded chicken in the drawers to be quickly accessed whenever an order for fried chicken comes through.
