Sinks with deck-mounted faucet holes are ideally used when the waterlines come up through the floor. Wall-mounted holes are for water pipes that come through the wall or run up along it. When selecting a two compartment sink, you will want to take this and the hole spacing into consideration. The holes themselves are either spaced at four or eight inches and need to be matched with a faucet with appropriately spaced holes. Most of the time faucets are not included with compartment sinks, so be sure to get a faucet and pre-rinse unit as well.
