Meat grinders that are electrically powered come with a pusher to help feed the uncut meat. Some models even come with a sausage tube or attachments that help force the meat into a sausage casing. The grid on the front of the machine can also be changed to different sizes if you want finer or thicker shreds of meat.
For manual models, you will want to consider where it is placed. All units will need to be mounted to the countertop or tabletop in order to prevent them from sliding around. Some units have screw holds on the foot of each leg, whereas others are meant to be clamped to the edge of the table.
