French Top Ranges

With the burner ring plates in place you have a smooth, continuous work surface on which you can place different size pots and pans. By removing the rings, you expose the pots to the flame which makes this configuration ideal for sautéing or other forms of open-flame cooking. Surrounding the French top are also warming plates for simmering.

As an additional consideration, the base of the range can be either a storage cabinet, convection or standard oven. A standard oven simply uses radiant heat to heat up the cavity and cook the food. Convection cooking utilizes a fan to move the hot air around and decrease cooking time. Or, you can simply use the bottom space as a storage area.
