Crepe Machines

An electric crepe machine is essentially a thin round griddle with a slightly upturned edge. The upturned edge helps prevent the batter from spilling over. The machines often include a special wooden tool for spreading the batter evenly across the cooking surface. When selecting a machine for your crepe-making needs, you will want to check the diameter of the cooking surface. Since crepes are served rolled up, the diameter will tell you who long the crepe will be. You want to make sure you select a machine that will not make a crepe that is longer than the plate on which it will be served.
