Casters

Most casters either have a plate, threaded stem or stem-type mounting mechanism. The stem and threaded stem are ideal for equipment on hollow legs (like tables and stands). The plate-type adapter are used mostly on equipment with a flat base, like a refrigerator. Each set of four wheels has a combined weight capacity. You will want to check this measurement to make sure they will support the piece of equipment you want to place on them.

Depending on the model number, casters can be used on different brands of equipment or be designed for only one type of equipment from a single brand. Be sure to read the fine print and assure that the wheels you are searching for will work with the intended piece of equipment.
