As far as efficiency goes, bulk cubers can turn five pounds of cheese into cubes in four minutes. This is estimated to be 10 times faster than other methods. To operate the unit, you will have to make two passes with each cheese block. The first pass will simply create several sticks that are the same length as the original. You will have to turn the blocks sideways and slice them again to create individual cubes. Since the main slicing component is a thin wire, harder cheeses may not work. It is recommended that you use bulk cubers for mozzarella, Monterrey Jack, Cheddar, Muenster, Swiss and American cheese only.
