Apple peelers can be secured to the countertop by either a suction cup base or with a clamp. Those that have clamps can only be mounted on the edge of the table or counter, making them ideal for permanent placement. If you want one that can be quickly removed for storage elsewhere, select a model with suction cup base.
All apple peelers have blades that can be adjusted for different fruit sizes (because no apple is the same size), and they all core the apple as they peel it. Some of the more expensive models also come with a slicer feature that will slice the apple or other fruit as well.
