The key to quickly making golden, soft and tasty waffles is having a top-quality waffle maker like the 20 Waffles/Hr Waffle Baker (GES70/1) from Equipex. The Sierra waffle maker is constructed with thick, fine-grain cast iron plates that retain heat exceptionally well. Most importantly of all, they also bake waffles to perfection thanks to their heavy-duty top plate design that assures proper rising even without the use of pesky clips. Able to bake up to 20 waffles every hour, the waffle maker is also equipped with thermostatically-controlled heating elements that are remarkably powerful and provide you with lightning fast preheating and recovery times. Best of all, this model is able to do all of this with a standard 110-volt power supply.

Excellent quality. Once the cast iron is seasoned, it is an excellent waffle maker. Be patient when you first start cooking with it, as it will take approx 2 bowls of batter ( 20 waffles or so ) to get the temp and time to cook just right to be able to turn out waffles that will easily pop out of the molds. A quick spray of vegatable oil on each plate will make the waffles pop out easily. Once you get this figured out, you will be able to cook excellent waffles every time. This is an excellent product.
The grid is too small for Belgian or even regular sized waffles. This is not a waffle iron suitable for an establishment that makes waffles regularly. Your customers will be very disappointed. I will not be able to use this to make waffles because the depths of the waffles are too small.
