The Benefits of Baking Pans
Sheet pans are made in three sizes:
• Full size: Measures 18” x 26” and fits the maximum amount of food. A full-size oven is required for this pan.
• Half size: Measures 13” x 18” and fits in both half size and full size ovens.
• Quarter size: Measures 10” x 13” and fits quarter, half and full size ovens. Ideal for baking smaller quantities of food.
By having various sizes, you’ll be equipped to make large or small batches of foods easily depending on demand. Make sure to consider your oven size prior to purchase, as not all ovens are accommodating to full-size pans.
Versatility narrows as we move from sheet pans to cake pans. Cake pans are more specific to different types of cakes. Here are a selection of cake pans offered and the benefits of each:
• Springform Pans: This model is ideal for delicate cakes, such as cheesecakes and tortes, as the bottom and sides of these pans can be removed for easy cake removal.
• Round Cake Pans: Considered a staple piece of bakeware, this cake pan can be used for a variety of creations from the simple birthday cake to a stacked wedding cake.
• Bundt Pans: Bundt cakes are famous for their unique ring shape and come in a variety of flavors. Having a specific bundt pan allows you to create this famous design with ease.
• Rectangular Cake Pans: Sheet cakes are a commonly made cake in both home and commercial kitchens, particularly bakeries and catering kitchens. Rectangular cake pans are also great for baking up brownies, casseroles and much more.

The signature mark of a quiche is the crimped edges lining the crust. These edges are easily created with quiche pans that have the crust design built into the pan’s construction. Quiche pans can rage in diameter to make individual 3” quiches to larger 8” quiches.
