Paper Plates
Sort By:
Paper plates typically come in two varieties: uncoated or coated. Uncoated paper plates are purely paper, making them lighter and less able to hold heavy or greasy foods without bending or absorbing liquids or grease. Paper plates are best for dry, lightweight foods like sandwiches and chips, slices of cake, cookies and the like. Doubling up on your paper plates is an option, but instead of using twice the plates, use something a little stronger.
For a sturdier option, pay a little more for coated plates. These plates are, as described, coated in a layer of plastic for increased resistance to liquids and greasy items. The coated plates are usually stronger and better suited for dense meals like pasta, meat and burgers with all the fixings.
