Table Bells

Home > Dining > Waiter Supplies > Table Bells
Hotel lobbies are the most common place to find table bells. If the concierge is away from the counter when a guest arrives, a simple press of the little ringer gets the attention of everyone in the room. There are also other uses for these products.

Restaurants that want to create an air of hustle and bustle often use table bells to indicate when an order is ready. The kitchen worker will ring the bell and say something like “Order Up!” to signal the servers to come running for the plate of food. The meat and deli counters of grocery stores also have some form of bell available in case the butcher is too busy cutting meat or nowhere to be seen. Of course, obnoxious customers can me the bells seem more of an annoyance than a simple indication of their presence, so it may be a good idea to only set the bell out when you are going away from the counter.
