Coffee Glasses

Coffee glasses are specially designed to hold hot or cold coffee or tea drinks like lattes, iced coffee, chai tea and Irish coffee. While the glass construction transfers heat more quickly and easily than ceramic would, the handles will prevent diners from burning their hands. The transparency is also appealing, as it will allow the drinker to see the delicious beverage inside.

When choosing coffee glasses, it is important to find a glass that is durable and tempered, especially if you are planning to serve hot beverages in it. Durable glass mugs will withstand a larger temperature change than standard glass. Thicker glass will also insulate better, keeping the beverage warm and the drinker’s hand cool.

The glass mug you choose should also match the kind of drink you will serve. For example, Irish Coffee is traditionally served in a footed glass mug. This will add style to the beverage service and will also protect the table from the hot mug. Top the cocktail with whipped cream for a delicious presentation. On the other hand, iced coffee is often served in a half-glass, half-stainless steel mug, or a tall all-purpose glass coffee mug.
