One such drink that requires special bar glassware is brandy. Brandy is a specialty spirit that is produced by distilling wine and typically is served as an after dinner drink in brandy snifters. It can be served both straight or over the rocks and has 35% to 60% alcohol content.
You may not know that brandy snifters are designed with a genuine purpose in mind; the shape of the bowl, the small stem and the wide base are all important to making a brandy snifter what it is. That being said, brandy glass must be designed in certain way. In fact, brandy snifters are made in a similar way as red wine glasses.
