Meat Boxes

Meat boxes provide a more attractive method for transporting fresh meat to your customers. Several layers of fresh hamburger patties or sausage can be placed in a single box, lined with tissue paper. The boxes themselves can fold up to lay flat to decrease the amount of storage space needed.

A word on food safety; be sure that your customers are not reusing the meat boxes after they get them home. The boxes should be discarded after the meat is taken out because the inside of the box will be contaminated with blood and fluids that can harbor harmful bacteria.
