Creating the perfect soft serve cone to give your customers takes a little practice. If you give too much, you are lowering your margin and the chance that the ice cream will melt before the customer finishes are pretty high. If you don’t dispense enough ice cream, you customers will become upset that you are not giving them enough of the cold treat for their money.
Get to know your machine and how quickly it dispenses the frozen soft serve mixture. Every morning, when you turn the machine on, make a few test cones to ensure you are aware of the rate in which the soft serve is dispensing. When dispensing the ice cream, be cure to twist the cone so that the ice cream is even.
