Table Skirts

Every catering or hospitality professional should stock up on white cotton table skirting. White cotton will go with any kind of decor and can be easily bleached back to its original color. For colored skirting, polyester is the most practical choice, since it is easier to wash out stains. However, you cannot bleach polyester skirts, since bleach will destroy synthetic fabrics.

Cotton is considered higher-end than polyester, so for formal events always go with the softer, breezier cotton skirting. However, polyester is slightly less flammable and much more economical, so it is the best choice for casual catering and outdoor catering where wind, chafing flames and table skirts can all increase the risk of fires.
