Q: Is it possible to order the clips for this Carlisle food carrier?
A: The Cateraide End Loaded Insulated Food Carrier (PC300N) from Carlisle doesn't actually use a clip system, as it has both hinge and latch parts. We don't currently have those parts listed on the website, but they can easily be ordered from our Product Expert team at the phone number listed on the top of this page. They will be able to provide you with pricing and availability. For easier ordering, the item numbers of the parts are PC301HA for the hinge and LD222NLA for the latch, both manufactured by Carlisle.

Q: Is this item designed for either cold or hot food?
A: Carlisle's Cateraide End Loaded Insulated Food Carrier (PC300N) is designed to be used with food pans that are filled with hot and cold foods. The insulation should keep the food at the appropriate temperature for approximately four to six hours.

"I was pleased with the product. It is what I expected and serves it's purpose excellent. I only wish I would have made this purchase earlier. For my purpose of extensive cooking for church functions and occasional catering it keeps food hot for hours, makes transporting much easier and gives a professional look and responsibility."

"The carsile hot / cold box was a great purchase. I am a independent restaurant owner and do any where from 2-4 catering jobs a week outside the restaurant. The box itself is very useful for trasporting hot food and keeps internal tempature for about two hours as long as you are not opening and closing the door too often. Easy cleaning and storage and very durable. The only down fall is it does not fit full size hotel steam table pans only inserts. I would reccommend this item for any business looking to purchase quality hot /cold boxes."

"This is the second one of these I have purchased. I always get good service and never had a problem. I use one for cold food deliveries and one for hot food deliveries. The food remanins at the proper temperature at all times. These carriers are easy to pack and teravel with."

"This item is ideal for caterers. The boxes keep food cold or hot for many hours. I own 7 of them and need more. The only negative regarding these boxes are the latches. They are made of plastic and have a tendency to break. You need to come up with a better latch then what is available. For $230.00 to $330.00 per box, I think the latches should be much more sturdy. "
