Cambro (18268CLRCW) - 8" Deep Colander

Some colanders are used to strain cooked pasta. Then there are those like the Cambro (18268CLRCW) 8” deep colander, which is large enough to fit into a full size food box that is nine or more inches deep. Rather than straining spaghetti, this colander can be used to thaw fish and meat or as a drain basin for freshly washed produce. It nests inside a food box, leaving an inch or more of clearance from the bottom of the box. In this space, water and other juices are allowed to pool without contaminating or wilting food no the bottom of the pile.
