Bon Chef Formal Patterns

Home > Bon Chef > Bon Chef Flatware > Bon Chef Formal Patterns
Fine dining is taken to the next level when you add an elegant flatware pattern to the place setting. Formal patterns have a way of adding that extra touch that is needed to set the competition a step above the rest. Look for patterns that are art deco or more baroque to perfect fit your restaurant’s ambience.

Bon Chef offers many of its most popular patterns in 18/10 stainless steel and Bonsteel. Stainless steel is composed of two different types of metal alloys to make it stain and corrosion resistant. The 18 stands for the amount of chromium in the steel alloy and the ten is the amount of nickel in the metal. These two components combine to give the steel its rust resistant qualities.

Bon Chef has also spent time developing their own steel alloy that will last just as long as stainless steel and cost less as it does not contain any nickel. The prices of nickel have been fluctuating rapidly as of late and Bon Chef decided that, in order to keep prices steady, they would need to take matters into their own hands and create a compound that has the same stain and corrosion resistant properties, but at a lower price. The result is Bonsteel. Ask your sales person about using the Bonsteel alternative to stainless steel today.
