Shooters

Tequila is popular as a shot and it is commonly served in a shooter glass. Some will argue that shooter glasses are only to be used for mixed shots; that is, shots that are made of liquor with added mixes or ingredients. This is not always the case. Really, the shooter can be used in the same fashion as a shot glass, only since the capacity is usually slightly larger than a traditional shot glass, bartenders may want to be wary of the type of liquor they are serving in these glasses. Higher priced liquors are usually served in smaller portions, just as a rule.
