You may also go with a themed pick for a special occasion, such as bamboo picks for Asian-style appetizers.
For fancy cocktails, try something a little more ornamental. Pretty paper parasols are often the key garnish in exotic tropical drinks like a Maitai or Planter’s Punch. For edible embellishments like chunks of pineapples or olives, try something a little sturdier like a plastic sword pick. Especially upscale events may go for gold-plated, crystal-topped martini picks.
