Can punches are hand-held and simple to use. By placing the pointed end on top of a can and using a lever motion, the can puncher works to perforate holes in the top of a steel can. Often this type of opening method is used for canned syrups, juices or other liquid ingredients. Can punches are also occasionally called “can tappers.” These are useful both in the bar and in the kitchen, so keep several of these handy in every part of your establishment.
