These biodegradable bagasse plates are constructed from natural sugarcane fiber without the use of harmful chemicals. Bagasse looks and feels like paper. It decomposes within 180 days in soil or landfills and 15 days in water.

"The plates are used in the activity department of our county nursing home. We utlize them for snacks, hot foods, etc. They are sturdy, do not leak and our Elders are pleased that they are contributing to a "greener" environment by using these products."

"We do many special events and meetings with food for 20 to 100 follks. They appreciate the sturdiness of the product but more to the point, they like that we've gone green and that the "trash" will be composted."
