The dough stuck to the peel but I found a solution. I expand the pizza dough on the peel, transfer it to a pizza screen add the toppings and slide the screen onto my preheated travestine tile in the oven. After about five minutes I can remove the pizza from the screen using the peel and place directly on the stone to finish, it's like making it in a pizza oven. I tried flour on the peel before I did this and I still couldn't get the dough to slide off the screen so I came up with this solution and it worked perfectly. The travestine tile is 16X16, 1/2 inch thick natural stone that can be purchased @ Home Depot in the flooring department for under ten bucks. It makes for a great pizza stone and costs less! It can be used for other baking projects but it worked great on the pizza. The only thing I would change about this pizza peel is the handle length. The twelve inch handle would have done the job just as well, but for .50 cents I'm not complaining.
i bought this but wrong size sent back & recieved credit! Great service!
The handle is a great length, the bristles and blade are solid and high quality. Great price too.
Just as described, but took one star away due to the time it took to receive.
These meet our personal pan pizza needs well. Delivery time did take too long though
