"I received the wrong item. I received the 16" round metal peel instead of the rectangular shape, but as it turned out, I decided to keep the round one and am glad that I did. I have used the rectangular shape in the past and it turns out that I like the round one mucho mucho.
Thanx."

"The peel's aluminum blade was shipped on one side with an almost clear plastic film to protect the blade from scratches during manufacturing, which is understandable, but the end user may not be aware that the plastic film is on the blade. If it is placed in a hot oven without removing the prior to initial use it will melt. A difficult oven clean-up and possible food contamination may result. A written warning or film of a more contrasting color would be helpful. The stamped metal attachment fitting between the peel's blade and the wooden handle had sharp edges. I filed them smooth."

"This product is well designed and well made. The construction is sturdy for the size and weight of pizzas I make. The length of the handle is adequate for residential oven use. I would have preferred if the wooden handle was finished (stained and/or sealed) and not just raw wood."

"We have used this peel for 2+ years and it still looks great and works well. It is easy to clean. The handle is very sturdy making it easy to move your pie where you want it. We bought another one for our son and daughter in-law for a present for Christmas."

"The peel is good, easy to handle, sometimes the dough get a bit sticky but some floor makes it easier to get into the oven. Having tried wood and aluminum peels, I would suggest the aluminum; I think it makes easier both task of getting into and out of the oven. Also the size of this peel is a good one."

"I like to work with this peel because it's light, but sturdy. I don't have to worry about splinters or warping as I did with my wood peel. Best of all it's easy to get underneath baking goods--never sticks, and hoo-ray, it's super easy to clean and store. It's so thin it goes in my vertical tray cupboard. Highly recommended."

"Remarkable quality and durability compared to similar sized pizza peels. Though many may prefer a traditional wooden peel, I find this aluminum peel easier to clean and maintain. Only time and continued usage will tell if my initial opinions bear out. However, I'll be shocked to experience future disappointment in this utensil."

"This is the pefect size for most pizzas. We used to have a wooden peel but found it hard to keep clean. We got this one because it's easier to clean and seems like it will last a long time. It's also nice because it's thinner than a wooden peel and easier to get under thin pies."

"This pizza peel is just perfect for my home use. I use a pizza stone and this peel works perfectly with it. The quality of this product and the wooden handle is just the right length for my use. I would definitely recommend this to a friend. My father had a pizza shop years ago, and this reminded me of what he used in his business."

"There is no better way to get my homade Brooklyn style pizza with homade dough onto a 490 deg. stone in the oven!!!! Sprinkle corn meal on the peel, lay your tossed dough right on the peel, and construct your pie. The only way to get decent pizza north of the Mid-Hudson region of New York for the exception of Schenectady! I'm in the Adirondacks. Love this product and the price could not be beat."

"One of the best peels out there. The blade is thin so it easily slides under the dough. The metal surface doesn't "take" flour or cornmeal very well, so it is sometimes (with wetter dough) hard to get the un-cooked pizza off the peel, but following the recipe for dough that is provided pretty much takes care of that problem."

"This pizza peel is a great size for the home kitchen. The handle is securely attached and the peel is a good size for transferring either pizza or two regular size loaves of bread to the oven. It's lighter than a wooden peel which makes lifting easier. Adding a hole to the handle makes it easier to store."

"Very good quality pizza peel with a solid metal blade and well-made wooden handle. The thinness of the metal blade compared to a wooden peel makes it much easier to insert and extract pizza/stromboli, etc. from the oven"

"I LOVE THIS PEEL! Started making thin crust pizza and Pugliese bread and needed a sturdy yet thin edged peel. I had read several reviews and the wooden ones seemed to crack a lot so I decided to give this a try. It was shipped quickly, the price was fantastic, and it is sturdy enough to carry two loaves of bread in and out of the oven at the same time.
GREAT PRODUCT!!!"

"The edges are sharper than they have to be. i had to run the angle grinder on them to file the edge down a little bit. It has a good handle to peel rivet connections though. Seems sturdy. The dough sticks to the peel, so I must be doing something wrong. I still need to find out how to prevent that. Overall, I'd recommend the product if i can figure out how to prevent the dough from sticking to the aluminum."

"Was looking for a pizza peel and this fit the bill. Worried that a wooden one would split and be too thin, but this one works well and is easy to use and clean. It is a bit industrial looking but solid enough to handle getting pizza in and out of the oven and it is light weight too, andwell priced. Came quick with regular shipping."

"Wow! This peel works beautifully - even better than I had hoped. Wood peels may be prettier, but this aluminum peel is pretty in it's own way, and even more important, effective - food just slides on and off with no sticking at all. We drilled a hole in the handle so I could add a loop and hang it on a hook for easy access. I use it mostly for na'an, but it also works great for pita, and of course, pizza. :) "

"This is a well made tool, strong and durable. For household cooking I might go with a size down. Works well to remove Calzones, Pizzas and bread from the pizza stone. However, we haven't got the hang of using it to slide them into the oven yet. It also could use a hole in the handle for a strap so that it could be hung on the wall."

"I receved a baking stone as a gift. When I used the stone I had trouble getting a fresh uncooked pizza onto it. I bought the larger peel and that made it a lot easier for me . Since then I've made about six pizzas. I use it about twice a month. It fun to use and make you feel like a pro at pizza making. Plus you can make three pizza for the price of one boughten from a chain delivery."

"Excellent workmanship. Size is appropriate for home use and the handle is just the right length. It took me a bit before I found the right storage area in my kitchen, but I'm very pleased with this peel and use it frequently. The one use I had not planned on was having a surface to cut the pizza on."
