Inside Sales Account Manager

Our comprehensive offering includes over 100,000 products from more than 400 vendors, covering all segments of the food service industry.

We are looking specifically, for an inside salesperson to serve as an Account Manager. Due to our growth and commitment to our customers we are actively looking for individuals who are passionate, proactive and team oriented with the ability to work individually as well. This position will be a high visibility position too as nothing happens until something gets sold.  If you have strong sales skills and at least one year of sales experience we encourage you to apply. You must be able to take phone calls and communicate effectively with existing and potential customers. You will be responsible for selling all of’s products.

This position offers a competitive salary along with commission opportunities.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Meeting or exceeding monthly and annual targets.
  • Minimizing amount of accounts receivables for your owned accounts
  • Pricing management to ensure  maximum sales volume while still maintaining FSW margin standards
  • Secure and own new customers from inbound calls
  • Manage and own existing customers previously sold to
  • Strategize with existing accounts to increase FSW’s share of their, “wallet”
  • Participating fully in training sessions, meetings, skill building and professional development classes.
  • Identifying decision maker(s) amongst owned accounts in order to continue
  • Cooperating with Sales Manager to determine essential strategic approaches for sales.
  • Maintaining and expanding the database of prospects of the organization.
  • Outbound and inbound selling.
  • Attending sales group meetings concerning sales targets or forecasts, reporting on market situation.
  • Coordinating with customer service for status on orders from related plant departments in ensuring the delivery commitment to clients is met.
  • Emphasizing service or product features and benefits, discussing credit terms, quoting prices, and preparing orders.
  • Creating and delivering qualified chances to National Accounts where appropriate.
  • Capturing of accurate and complete information into our databases.
  • Attending industry conferences to develop industry expertise and to build network.
Skills and Specifications
  • Able to work in fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly proficient level computer skills including Ms Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience with
  • Excellent telephone sales personality skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Highly energetic and self-starter.
  • Able to multi-task the activities with shifting priorities.
  • Should be honest, assertive and systematic.
Education and Qualifications
  • 1 year of sales experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Some College Work
Sales Responsibilities Include
  • Assisting customers by recommending the right equipment for their needs
  • Preparing & creating orders and occasionally quotes
  • Able to work as part of a team as well as individually
  • Meet and exceed weekly and monthly revenue/margin goals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication with our customers
  • Managing orders from beginning to completion
