Precision Products Group has a long history with the paper drinking straw since they first patented it back in 1888. The 2007 version is a sustainable product made from renewable resources, yet is biodegradable and 100% compost friendly. Though plastic eventually became the standard for straws, Aardvark recently made the decision to go back to its roots and bring back the environmentally friendly paper straw.
We bought these when we opened our café and get compliments on them all the time. Very retro in that they ARE a paper straw. Durable, multi-layered, hold up to kids & adults. Not so great in hot drinks...but hey, what did you expect? It's a paper straw!!! LOVE THESE STRAWS!!!
These have been awesome in our cafe. Easy to store & use...easy to cut in half for kids use!!
My daughter loves to drink out of straws but plastic straws are made so poorly these days and they aren't good for the environment. So I decided to invest in aardvark paper straws and I am glad I did. They are very sturdy even after sitting in liquid for hours. And I know that they will eventually biodegrade in a landfill so my conscience likes them, too. I bought a large quantity but the individual wrappers will keep them from getting dusty in my pantry. I highly recommend this product and I will buy more when the need arises.
I purchased the paper straws because I was using plastic at home, which are horrible for the environment. The quality of the straws is excellent they are thick and strong, not flimsy at all. They are just perfect for smoothies and shakes as well as juice and milk. The kids love them and I bring them to places like the zoo because they have no straws there and they are individually wrapped so it's easy to just throw them into the diaper bag or my purse. I wish more businesses provided these environmentally friendly straws. This is an excellent product.
I like the paper straws because they are made in the USA with no chemicals or bleaches. They are stiff enough for any drink--I have even used them with hot chocolate. I mainly ordered them for my 3 year old grandson. He uses them fine--he just had to learn he could not bite on them like he has plastic straws.
Ensure that your customers don’t need to think twice about your establishment’s sanitation. With these individually wrapped straws, guests will never need to wonder about how many fingers touched their straw.
