Q: Are these straws strong enough to drink hot coffee with?
A: These Aardvark Individually Wrapped Paper Drinking Straws (AARDV-400W) can be used to drink hot beverages, however, after sitting in a hot beverage over time, the straw will soften. It is recommended that you call 1-877-877-4379 to order a sample so you can test the straw for your intended use.

Q: Are these straws sterile? What glue/chemicals are used to hold each straw together?
A: Aardvark considers the materials they use to make their straws "propietary information," which means they will not disclose information on materials used. However, everything they use in constructing straws is FDA-approved and they are regulated in their production of the straws. They are happy to give samples of their straws if you are interested.

Q: Is the paper used for these straws bleached?
A: The paper on the Individually Wrapped Paper Drinking Straws (AARDV-400W) from Aardvark has not been bleached or had any other chemicals added to it.
