Built-in grill thermometer

A grill thermometer that is built-in to an outdoor BBQ grill and smoker shows the temperature of the air and smoke inside the grill. In this case, the thermometer reads just over 230 degrees Fahrenheit. The ideal smoking temperature is between 200-220 degrees, so this smoker is almost at the perfect temperature. It will take many hours for the meat to cook in a slow-smoking grill like this one.
