Self-serve beverage and condiment stations, like the one shown here, help reduce the operating costs of a restaurant. Rather than hiring, training and paying servers to fill a customer’s water glass or get them an extra napkin, the customer takes care of that themselves. This setup is commonly used in fast food and fast-casual restaurants.
