Rather than covering up the old brick walls, restaurants that are located in old factories or warehouses will leave the brick exposed and incorporate it into their décor. The old brick creates a more rustic aesthetic and is so popular that newly built restaurants are putting in some brick walls of their own, or using fake brick.
