IPS (Iron Pipe Size)
Standard pipe threads, also known as NPS. Gives outside diameter measure and thread type (male or female).

Immersion type tubular heating elements
Electric heating elements submerged in fry pot cooking oil for direct, quick heating.
Impeller
Rotating component of a pump, similar to propeller, used to transfer energy from the motor to the fluid being pumped.

Incoloy
A strong stainless steel alloy found on heated merchandisers and char-broilers. Resists harmful effects at high temperatures.

Infinite heat knob
A knob that smoothly moves from low to high, rather than set temperature, so that choices for temperature are infinite.

Infinite control switches
A knob that smoothly moves from low to high, rather than set temperature, so that choices for temperature are infinite.

Infinite temperature control
A knob that smoothly moves from low to high, rather than set temperature, so that choices for temperature are infinite.

Injector system
Chemical dispensing pump that can distribute required chemical amount into warewashing machines. High temp units only need a two chemical injector whereas low temps need three.
